Following the management buyout of Virgin Megastores, Caulder Moore was asked by the newly formed Zavvi Entertainment Group, to re-name and re-brand the new company.
Virgin Megastores had been a key player in the music, DVD and games sector since 1977, enjoying a high profile on the UK high street. This was an exciting opportunity for us to develop one of Britain’s top retail brands in the challenging and fast moving retail entertainment sector, creating a unique new buying experience.
Our brief was to develop an exciting, fresh new name and identity that would reflect the pride and passion of the company and its status as a large, specialist independent entertainment store.
The design needed to connect the brand with its existing and prospective customer base to create enthusiasm to shop on the high street and across all other customer channels.
