Urbium is a leisure group we have worked with on a variety of projects over the years. When they came to us to do a new venue they had just purchased in the heart of the City, we understood that the design needed to push all the right buttons in terms of glamour and ‘cool-factor’. This had to be a space where City workers would want to come for business socialising, as well as for letting their hair down after-work.

Our solution for Alibi mixed a variety of design inspirations, from handmade wallpaper, to authentic antler sculptures and original artworks, to turn it into a truly ‘wow’ place. The finished space is a combination of sleek modern design, made more unique and individual by the addition of quirky, one-off elements.

To allow maximum usage of space, there is a variety of moods and pace. A lounge area and stand-up bar are permanently configured, whereas the dining area can have the tables pushed aside...
