When we started working with Ben Sherman, they were financially very successful but the once street cred brand had lost some of its cool. They asked us to take the brand back
to its roots and reinstate its authentic style credentials.
The new image needed to reflect the Britishness of the brand and capture the heritage without feeling nostalgic or retro. Our design for the flagship store answered this brief with a strong message of urban cool and industrial chic, overlaid with iconic British references: contemporary 60s styling, the Brighton Mod style… and of course the all important Ben Sherman shirt.
The outcome was a dynamic and uniquely Ben Sherman language. We developed a variety of design elements that could easily be rolled out across the company’s global concessions, and collated it all in a Brand Bible to facilitate consistency of application.
