Caffé Nero saw the huge potential for establishing an authentic Italian coffee house in the UK. Eager to establish its presence ahead of the deluge of US coffee chains, Caulder Moore was briefed to create a design template that could be rolled out across the country.

Italy is the home of the authentic coffee experience and our strategy was to make Caffé Nero the ultimate Italian authentic coffee house in the UK.

To create authenticity for the brand proposition, the environment was designed to reflect the sense of organic evolution and warmth and spontaneity associated with tradition period-style Italian coffee houses. 

A distinctive black and blue frontage with strong branded signage, creates stand out and instant recognition on the high street, clearly differentiating Caffé Nero from other coffee operations.
