The Parisian couture house worked with Caulder Moore to translate its colourful style into a retail concept to be used in the UK.
Its flamboyant Moorish style, inspirations from Provence and signature fuchsia and gold needed careful translating to avoid over powering the rich and detailed product.
Due to the beautiful detail the client was persuaded to more front presentation so the customers could appreciate the craftsmanship and detail in the product.
Working closely with Christian Lacroix himself approvals were gained for each detail to make sure it reflected the culture and style of the designer’s unique personality.
The first store was a narrow space but every opportunity was taken to play on the architectural details and add a sense of drama as well as present the product to its best advantage.
