Coutts is one of the world’s oldest banks, with a wealth of tradition and heritage. However, recently they have faced change on a grand scale. Both their customer profile and banking practices have shifted significantly in recent years, due to cultural shifts and technological innovations. To meet these changing dynamics, the bank needed to become more open and service driven, and focus on the needs of a new, more demanding customer set.
Our solution was to retain the classic heritage of the brand but add a modern appeal to its environments to reflect a forward-thinking attitude. Our designs for the new Wealth Management centres were more open and furnished, to be accessible to the new broader range of customers. Coutts now has the feel of a sophisticated international hotel lounge that has both the stature and intimacy required for discreet financial discussions.
