Kew

On the back of the successful collaboration with Jigsaw and our understanding of the core brand that we demonstrated, we were invited to help Jigsaw launch its new brand ‘Kew’. Kew was designed to reflect the same ethos as Jigsaw, but at a lower price point. Whereas each Jigsaw store is individually designed, the Kew concept needed to be less detailed to enable simple and economical roll out over a large number of sites.

Our solution was to emulate the model of a design studio: a simple, utilitarian, urban yet stylish and inspirational space. The materials and fabrics we used were simple and unpretentious, yet the shop was evocative of a space where creativity and craftsmanship might take place – individual and eclectic. The refined warehouse architecture suggests that the product has come directly from the design studio.
